What You Wanted

This grungish sounding “single”, What You Wanted, is now available on iTunes for people who would like to contribute to the LF effort, OK To Disconnect, that will take full effect January 5th with the inception of Track 02.

What You Wanted is available for FREE here, but you wish to choose to support Last Falling with what we Americans like to call pennies, or pence if you’re English, then hurl some change at the strongly supported and decently crafted one man digital street performer.

It is exclusive to various online retailers such as iTunes.

So like Indy and The Last Crusade, choose wisely.

Broken Windows and Shooting Pains

Download Broken Windows and Shooting Pains on iTunes.

I wrote and recorded a handful of acoustic songs roughly around 2002 and never really knew where I could fit them into a record. I started kicking around the idea of having two music projects; one being a band and the other my acoustic songs. I wrote these 13 songs with a solo project in mind but eventually held onto them because I didn’t want to detract from the energy I was putting into Last Falling at the time.

I always envisioned Last Falling being the band name of a few like-minded friends who would share a common bond in maintaining a creative music project – I never thought of it as a selfish professional business or a name for myself. An epiphany and a few realizations later, Last Falling makes sense to me now. My songs are best left to my own success or demise. Open eyes are beautiful.

I am proud to announce that there are a total of 48 tracks now available on iTunes for free, via the Last Falling Podcast.

Official iTunes Link / Official Last Falling Podcast

The current catalog of songs available right now spans 12 years, dating back to 1997. The podcast will continue to serve its function of updating you on what is new and when tracks (I have yet to find) are available.

Some are wondering why I’m doing this; why my past is up for grabs.

To them I say I am fulfilling my obligation as an artist to remain vulnerable given the climate of the music industry in addition to our horrible economic shitastrophy. There is no obligation to buy my music or any music for that matter. I love what I do and this is just a great opportunity to open up my vault for you.

I’ll personally keep you informed about what’s new through my little vortex on the internet and continue to deliver music the way I hear it.

Last Falling is proud to release a new track called Satellites. It is available for free on MySpace, Facebook, and in 3 different formats on the official website. This is the first of 10 songs planned for the new record (whose name will be a secret for the time being). Enjoy.
