THE COMPLETE HISTORY OF ELECTRONIC MESSAGING

When the internet was first invented by constructing a series of tubes, communication was limited and slow. Very small leprechauns would often be sent into these tubes to clear obstructions and direct the flows of data. Due to the harsh conditions of the first generation of these tubes, sadly, the leprechauns often died of dysentery on their trail to Oregon.

Eventually, more advanced tubes were designed and began to allow little 1's and 0's to hurtle through time and space to reach their final destination without the assistance of the tiny leprechauns. The development of internets have allowed for many great achievements over time, specifically, electronic mail. Now that this technology is widely available, you now have access to this convenient feature that has driven leprechauns out of work and into extinction. This is why no one will ever be able to find gold at the end of a rainbow.

Electronic messages are usually read within 24 hours. If you happen to get a reply, it's a lot like finding gold at the end of a rainbow. But not really. It's still an email you filthy leprechaun killer.
